CLOVER - Another Free Filemanager

As I'm not totally happy with Multi Commander (bugs with the column set, frequently not responding when switching from cable to wifi, keyboard not registering) I'm always on the lookout for alternatives.

So I'm gonna try out this one for now : CLOVER
Have a look at the top 2 lines here.

It's rather nifty in that it doesn't replace Explorer, it just adds tabs like Chrome and does it really smoothly (I think)
I'll update the post later to tell you if it's any good.

Gamesave Manager a timesaver?

Came across this little utility today.
Looks good, maybe I'll use it when migrating to Windows 8 in a couple of years ;-)

Wing Commander is BACK

Yes, you read that right, the 20 year old grandmother of Epic Space Opera combat is coming to a pc near you! (probably the one's screen you're looking at right now).
And all of this courtesy of a fan based mod development called Wing Commander Saga that has been 10 years in the making!
Here's the promo video that just launched :

Office 2010 for Android

They say it's coming out for iOS, but Onlive beats Microsoft to the punch with iOS & Android support!
How? Well, it's Windows 7 + Office 2010 in the cloud and streaming right onto your favourite tablet.

And best of all, it's FREE !

Get these FREE remakes of classic Sierra Adventure Games

Some extremely talented people have been doing a great job to remake the humourous adventure games Space Quest 2 and Kings Quest 3!

More FREE MMO's

It just doesn't stop. Every high profile MMO that got it's butt kicked is going Freemium.
And now the expansions are going the same way, check out Menace of the Underdark for the elder glory of Dungeons and Dragons Online.

Here's a good channel of video tutorials for DDO (they're Dutch guys I believe)

Then there's STAR TREK which as of now is F2P as well

Check it out here :

Another F2P that came along before the newyear was EVERQUEST 2 :

What is better than a free game?

Uhhh, 3 free games of course! And that is just what the open source community around Aleph One has in store for you. But not just any old free game. No, the (semi) official HD remakes of Bungie's Marathon games!

They were the Doom and Duke mirror games on Macintosh. Only played a tiny bit of those but they are very well regarded in the retro community. So go check them out after the break !

There is also online multiplayer in Marathon Infinity !
